  - Each planning district PDF map is divided into multiple pages, usually 4 quadrants
      - You need to convert each page separately, so first split the pdf in individual pages (suggested software: pdfsam)
  
  - Export each map as a high resolution PNG or TIFF (DO NOT USE JPEG)
      - OSX: Open the pdf in Preview and export to image with 150ppi resolution
      - Others: Use a PDF-> PNG converter (website: http://pdf2png.com/)
