Realignment process

• Align Bing to reference source, add imagery as per source setup
• Delete extra nodes, split/join roads accordingly
• Retag motorable paths

Issues

• Misaligned coastline
• Misplaced natural=wood from MLIT import

• Paths tagged as residential
• Unclassified roads tagged as residential
• yh:WIDTH tag is not usable/outdated

• Many new roads/realignments and developments not in GSI maps

Tools/plugins needed

• Merge linear ways with matching tags
• Bridge/tunnel creation tool. Create two nodes manually, automatically split way and add bridge/tunnel+layer

• w for realignments
• Select continuous ways with shift+wand combine them c

Careful

• Conflicts! Dont edit outside download area. Split highways at edges
• Relations
• Choose task areas away from others
• Oneway direction Japan drives on the left hand side of the road, like India.

Finishing a task

• For no GSI imagery in the block, unlock and say `No GSI coverage

Open questions:

• Delete yh:WIDTH, source tag to merge ways
• Bridges or tunnels

Tasking Manager

• Remove blocks from task
• Mass invalidate all blocks
• Set imagery flags full partial cloudy
• Stats graph updates on invalidated tasks
• Add custom tile layers
